Thanks Tony, but that's not what I was asking (see Hugo's post). I already perform the
uncompressed AVI using VideoMach, and it was that step that I was hoping to make
redundant.

However, your answer was interesting regarding using a second pass for DivX encoding.
I shall
have to give that a try.
