In a case like this it works quite well because the rad artefacts are lost
in the general chaos. For the large version, though, I'll have to make some
critical decisions and re-render some parts with better settings. Still,
what you've obtained so far without radiosity is quite amazing.

That would be a great feature. The media is not all satisfactory here, at
least in the close-ups, and there is some darkening on the edges which is
not realistic. They look less like leaves than like little water balloons. I
tried double_illuminate but it didn't work at all.
