Well, I used a cubic spline for the sphere sweeps.  The tricky thing
to keep in mind is that the first and last points that you specify
for a cubic spline are not visable.  Read the pov-docs.  Play with
it.  You'll figure it out.  If I could figure it out, just about most
anyone can.  :)
