Now as I look again on the image, I see, what you probably mean ...

I'm sure, I have the lightsource nearly at the same position as
in the original image. You can see that, if you compare the direct
shadows of the corner and of the statue.
All others are effects of light-parameters, ie. brightness, fade-power
and fade-distance. I think this one here was done with f-pow=2, but I
will again give it a try with some "unnatural" values ...
