I am trying to create a simple laser. the scene is a plane and a sky sphere,
with scattering media to make the beam visible, a cylinder light with
parallel on(the blue beam), a mirrored box (at the top right where the beam
reflection is) and a small red box(for reference). my problem, is that the
beam seems to show itself from the source up to a point where it reaches the
shadow of the mirror and then it abruptly dissapears. the beams reflection
however seems to go right up to the surface of the mirror. note: when i
comment out the other light source(the one that isnt the beam) this problem
goes away but then the scattered light from the beam seems to not illuminate
anything at all. thanks for any help:)
