Unfortunately I had a tighter budget and was forced to use rubber tubing
instead of liquid metal.  Your solution looks much neater and is less likely
to get snagged on passing objects.

I will see if the patron wants to spring for a retrofit.  How much does
state-of-the-art, next-generation, memoryform shape-changing liquid metal
cost?
