Hi Alessandro,
from your names I would have bet you were Italian... are you Brazilian/Portuguese ?
BTW, here are some hints about glass textures:
1) ambient 0 (this rule could apply to most materials).
2) very low diffuse (as low as you can: try 0.05)
3) I quite always use something like rgbf <.95,.95,.95,.98> as pigment. It's not
completely transparent, but gives the glass a more *solid* appearance.
4) specular 1 and low roughness (something like 0.003 should work).
5) variable reflection: reflection {0.1,1 fresnel on}.
6) interior fade_distance and colour.
7) photons often help...

Of course POV 3.5 comes with some nice glass textures, so you don't really have to
reinvent the wheel... ;)
