Every year (in Canada, at least) the Cub scouts have a "Kub Kar" rally.

They are given a package that includes a block of pine wood (roughly 3x4x20
cm), some wheels and some nails for use as axles.

It's the boys' task to shape the block into a car (being as creative as they
like), paint it, decal it, attach the wheels, and race it against the other
cars down a sloping track.

My boy described for me what he wanted to build.  I visualized it.  He loved
it.

(btw, this is my first attempt at radiosity.
