Correct, the pictures are not visible yet because there are some parts of
the template menu changes that are not complete yet.  However, they can
actually be stored (but they aren't included yet because they would just eat
up space for no reason).  One difference compared to the Windows version
will be that once images are visible, they will be stored JPEG format by
POV-Ray.
