Yes I see now. There's one thing I did: changed the brightness upwards
in Photoshop. IMHO this was an improvement: I could see more of her
eyes, and the contrast in the darker regions was improved favourably
too, I think.

One of the problems I had was getting the image map bright enough . . .
I had to bump up the global ambient settings to have it show up at all ...
esp when I tried to use MegaPOV . . . couldn't seem to tweak just the
image map.  Still trying to finger out why.
