I suppose that the history behind those key combinations come from the
Borland C compiler. There F9 compiles and runs the program while ctrl-F9
only compiles the program.
In the same way it can be thought that F9 in Moray "compiles" the scene
(that is, converts it to a pov file) and runs it (starts povray) and
ctrl-F9 just "compiles" it.
Am I right?
