Ah yes, I haven't gotten to part 3 yet and that's where it will need that
happening.  I might not ever finish.

It's all random right now, from closely spaced to wider spaced rings.  Colors
are random too but start from a medium gray.
I haven't figured a way of going about it to get gaps in the same density blend
map.  I'll post here with the part 1 animation so you can see the ring better
from a distance.  Small mpeg file.
