That is entirely up to the voters, I guess.  If you acknowledge that 
your are doing a reproduction, then I don't think anyone would mind.

On the other hand, if you try to sneak one in and someone finds out...

I'd say go with original stuff, but then again my only entry ever in the 
IRTC was a reproduction, so don't listen to me.
