Hi tracers!

Here I'm again with some cube fractals rendered according to K's (I
think it's the time for me to learn how to make a link to a Usenet
posting... any hints?) already about two weeks ago... a short
description of the variable names used in the captions:

sf: scale factor, size of each subsequent cube union relative to the
union before;
w: variation width of the randomized scale factor: note that in the
first four images, I used a simple arithmetical definition of the width
- after scaling the union by sf, it is rescaled according to the formula
(1+w/2)-w, so with an original scale factor of 0.5 and a width of 0.8,
the actual scale factor ranges between 0.3 and 0.7;
f: variation width in the other four pictures, but now geometrical:
sf*pow(f, 1-rand(seed)*2). An original scale factor of 0.5 combined with
a width of 3 would actually yield results between 0.15 and 1.5.

I think K's method would be quite useful to generate pyrite (fool's
gold) crystals, when used with an appropriate texture...
