The stem color can change quite dramatically over a few days, from quite green,
when fresh, to a fairly saturated yellowish brown, to a darker, greyer brown.  I
agree that the stem color seems to stand out a bit now, but also gave in to it's
seduction for the moment.  I hope to switch to mesh and do a more detailed job
of modelling as well as coloring.
