Thanks for the comments on my previous image.
I Replaced the parallel light with an area light (4x4 lights at 100 
units distance). Strange that the parallel light and the area light 
result in different colors on the window shadow. The lights use the same 
color.

I also added an area light inside the room to give a soft shadow against 
the wall. The flow now has a wood texture. I may do a radiosity version 
of this scene with the external light source only.
