Well, what I am trying to do, is to create a world
within a glass bowl. It's lit by a desklight that will
later be attached to the base (also not modelled
yet), with cable and switch and all that.

This is just a general image, I'm tweaking the
patterns for the heightfield's function, the slopemaps
for the heightfield's texturing, the media of the "ocean"
(as well as the normal on the surface ect),
the height of the mountains... Well, a WIP, really!

I am already thinking about adding clouds (which should
cast scattering type of shadows in the final version),
some trees placed with the trace-macro, perhaps a few houses
(though I'm thinking about scale: they might look too big),
a few ships on the sea?

Well, comments, ideas, suggestions, all are welcome, even
criticism! I've got lots of ideas already tucked in my head,
above all, I need suggestions for techniques and tricks to use.

Thanks in advance!

Tim
