I have seen quartz very close to being this perfect myself in a lapaderist
(sp?) shop.  for a 1 inch by .5 inch by .5 inch specimen costs like 2-3
hundred US dollars due to the rarity of such fine specimens....  usually one
ounce per 5 tons of quartz for something this pure
