I don't know if anyone can supply an answer here, but since
particle-systems are
being developed here, I thought this might be the right place.
My problem is as follows:
I have a particle with given speed and position.
Now, does anyone know how I can calculate a direction into which it
will initially move, in order to cross a certain, given position, with
the
given speed?
And, if there is a way to do that, to find rather quickly if that is
possible with
the given speed, and which would be the lowest speed possible to hit the
position.
I know, it's a lot of physics... ;)
