Nope. They are places where this is a break in the bicubic patch. Some
patches can show these artifacts on the diagonals and the horizontal and
vertical centers. Both of these lines occur on the vertical centerlines
of patches.

Here is the same thing, but I've moved a few control points to reduce
the effects, and I've drawn in the edges of the patches.
