Nice work, I particularly like the "painted" look. What about adding a cairn?
There may be a problem with the mountains, for some reason they seem to be not
far away but close and small. The reason may be the fog: if it's heavy enough
to hide the path a few feet away the camera, the mountains shouldn't be visible
at all.
