Well, it's basically supposed to be fog, so reflecting the light. I think the
colour of it looks good (if not particularly realistic under the conditions),
but it is probablu too bright.

The ground is an isosurface (noise3d for the rolling hill, ridgedMF for the wavy
ridges, granite pattern for the gravel/sand). The stones are also isosurfaces
(spherical displaced with a granite pattern), scattered randomly across the
ground.
I can post the source for the ground if you like.
