I've seen many training room that have the monitor 'in' the table facing
upwards in an angle and there's a glass on top of it so that the top can be
used as a regular table.  The keyboard is then a pull-out tray at the edge
of the table (like many computer desks have now).  This setup would be more
convenient in a bar (IMHO).

BTW, if you want to make it look modern/geeky/cyberpunk, put neon-lights
around the perimeter of the table (and other objects) and use lots of
mirrors.  :)
