Unfortunately, most of the 'action', if you will, is at the bottom of the
image, so that wasn't an option.

I did manage to get it to finish by changing the image such that a few
partially transparent textures (water with foam) were totally opaque.  Not a
favored solution, but all I could do.

I'll probably start a new render over the weekend with the real textures,
just so I can find out how it comes out. ;)
