I think it looks very good for the most part, but basically to reiterate
what others said, the grass probably wouldn't have such defined shadows
when the sun is just emerging from clouds (or retracting-am i an
optimist?), and the mariner looks 2D to me; solid colors, not much
detail at that distance. Maybe some very soft highlight right on the
edge of his coat?
