The environment looks.. odd. The bases of the figures look a little
large, and they could use a little reflection to go with the highlights
(or else make the highlights a bit duller, which will give you a
convincing plastic look, but you probably didn't mean for these to be
plastic). The shading is pretty dull; what are you using for fill
lighting, ambient? Radiosity, or at least some area lights, would look better.

I hate to think of what this chess set must weigh. ;)
