AFAIK QNX is real-time OS and for this reason I'd expect some
performance degradation for programs such as POV-Ray. "Usual" OS-es are
more suited for such tasks IMHO. I've seen QNX demo, where in one floppy
came QNX OS with support to internet (modem support and browser) and it
did boot up from this floppy. But programs behaved not very smoothly,
they were rather jumpy(perhaps due to slow machine-75 MHz Pentium).
Perhaps I'm wrong (and I will be glad if I am) but I won't expect too
much from this OS for POV-Ray.
