Perhaps you could suggest a few categories to start off? Its a big
world out there!
A related thought...I have mused over the idea of a sort of "atlas" of
POV cloud formations with the underlaying code included. I remember
writing away, (when I was really young ), to the Canadian Weather
Bureau, or whatever they called it then, for their official cloud
identification chart, a wall poster with a nice matrix of little
pictures of cloud formations, Cirrus, Cumulus, Stratus, etc. I think
POV does "Alto-Stratus", maybe "Alto-Cumulus" really well. But to fill
out the whole chart could pose quite a challenge. But somehow there is
a loose nexus between the modeller's desire to produce "collections",
the hunt to simulate the natural world in a raytrace, and the desire to
investigate nature through classification.
