i rendered a print quality image (4096 by 2304 11hrs 19mins 35secs) of
this after changing the textures some more.  posted are the whole image
and a closeup.  you should see the printout i made.  magazine quality. 
it's a bmp over 27MB in size.  i was looking at older pics of my xwing
and got a real laugh at my first textures.  they were soooooooo bad!! 
thanks for not saying bad things when i posted pics of that.  to see
what i mean go back to 6/4/2000 under the post update to moray xwing. 
it's a response to the original message.
