Thanks, it's pretty simple, turbulent wood pigment + normal.

Well, you noticed the worst part about this thing. Metallic objects
refused to show photon caustics.
Actually I had the spiral patterned disc at center showing a shininess
onto the table at upper right side during one point in the early stages
of rendering this. I also had brighter candle holders too but no
photons reflecting off of them at the same time as that. It has me a
bit perplexed to say the least. Par for the course as usual.
