Perhaps this,

if you look the number on some particular telephone, there is
also letters (2 or 3 letters per number). I think you use this
relation between numbers and letters to write the name PovRay.

So the P and the R are on the 7 number etc..
But A (in povrAy) is on the 2 number? Not the 1?
