i think what he's getting at is what i've also been wondering...of course
lightwave has a feature similar to this, and blender has a deformation
lattice that can work that way too....but i suppose the question is:  can
you use moray to connect two objects and have a smooth connective tissue
that runs across the ika joint and stays together when the joint is
bent...like the skin covering your elbow??  or, in the case of the previous
question, like two metaballs (metaobjects ??)...
