I actually have 8 different sets of dice so far, from several different
casinos. The basic shape, pip placement, number stamping location, logo
location and punch/scratch location (to stop you from using the purchased
dice back at the tables) are all the same between each set of dice. But the
transparency/opacity, colortone, and surface clarity run the gammut. I've
got one pair that are as foggy as red gelatin, and another pair that are as
clear as rubies, with the rest falling all over the map in between.
So, I can understand how the transparency may look "off". <grin> There is no
"right" for it. :{)
