As said in the general NG, it may help (or complicate) to have two
versions of the logos.

One with only the symbol, sign for the very low resolution (32x32)

The other one with the lettering, plus the symbol plus a few other
things ( but no more than 200 x 200 or so)

Here are a few examples found out there

( the XGEDIT example is not obvious, but there are a few differences in
detail)
