AFAIK there's no way to do this in moray.
  Using the scripting language of povray 3.1 it's possible to put the
individual letters on some defined path, but finding a surface is not
possible
  With MegaPov you can also find the location of a surface at certain points
using the trace-function.
  Bending the letters (at least the ttf ones) to follow the path is not
possible.
