If you are trying to move individual control points you need to have the
control point boxes (green) displayed by clicking on Show Control Points.
Once you do that, the cursor will change to a select type and when you move
it over a control point it will change to a grabber hand.  If you want to
scale, rotate or translate the object, then you need to uncheck the Show
Control Points.
