The only normal patterns and modifiers that were available in POV-Ray v2.2
are as follows -

        5.4.2   NORMAL
                5.4.2.1 Bumps
                5.4.2.2 Dents
                5.4.2.3 Ripples
                5.4.2.4 Waves
                5.4.2.5 Wrinkles
                5.4.2.6 Bump_map
                        5.4.2.6.1   Specifying a bump map.
                        5.4.2.6.2   Bump_size
                        5.4.2.6.3   Use_index & use_color
                        5.4.2.6.4   The "once" option.
                        5.4.2.6.5   The "map_type" option.
                        5.4.2.6.6   The "interpolate" option.
                5.4.2.7 Normal Modifiers
                        5.4.2.7.1   Turbulence
                        5.4.2.7.2   Frequency and Phase
                        5.4.2.7.3   Transforming normals
