I've been working on creating texture libraries so that I have a good base
of stock textures for scenes -- so that every time I want a brass or gold, I
don't have to go hunting through old scene files for the one I made
"sometime last year".
Something I didn't know when I started POV: these textures should be treated
as a "starting" point -- different lighting, differently sized/shaped
objects will require tweaking of many of the textures.
I'll post an image with a sample of these textures (just the "yellows" so
far, brass, gold, etc.) in p.b.i.
Feel free to comment on and use the attached .mtx file (a Moray Texture
Library file -- put it in the Moray directory called TexLibs),
Claire
