I have never tried this but you might want to check out the docs on the
use of .ini file options. I am pretty sure that you can specify quality
settings in a .ini file for your scene so you do not have to specify them
on the command line each time you run the program. This of course would
be a POV-Ray for Windows only solution. If you are using a different
platform I am not sure what the proceedures would be.
