ok, my 2c:
ctrl-y _should_ spell 'yank' (hmm,
in emacs, it does..) and not 'linecut'
as in povray/codemax, so remco is
right about this.
all the followups to his post were
misleaded to think that he *wanted*
to cut/copy something with c-y, which
he didnt (right?), but codemax _does_.
well, what remco (and myself) would
like to see is a c-y _without_ storing
the line to the buffer (where people
like us tend to store precious things,
right remco? :))
of course i wouldnt write this if i
didnt know the solution (he he).
- and im not tellin you.. :P
okok, yes of course, here we go:
while the povray window is active,
press alt-enter to go to the codemax
props (menu editor/codemax properties),
choose the keyboard tab and look for
the &command LineCut (its the first
starting with an 'l', so alt-c followed
by the 'l' key will also bring you there).
select the &key assignment (ctrl-y) and
click the '&remove' button (er, youll find
the keyboard equiv yourself by now.. :)
next, you a&ssign the same shortcut to
the following command, which is named
'LineDelete' and does what it says, which
is what you and i want. :D

now its up to you, pal.
