I wrote Mr. Hayden about POV-Motif and recieved the following reply:

Thanks for your interest in POV-Motif. The archives are off the page by
design. Limited space on the web server and all that. If you want, I can
EMail them to you, although they are a little out of date. POV-Motif was
designed to drive POV-Ray 2.x. It doesn't support the newer features in 3.x.
I can tell you I'm working on a new GUI interface for POV-Ray that will
include the new 3.x features. It's written in Java and will run on
anything that has a Java virtual machine available. That will include
Linux and Solaris. I'm a few weeks from completion of this product though.
Interested in giving this a try when I'm ready with it?
