There are a lot of tools on the Mac to convert files to different line
endings. Besides that, the free text editor BBEdit Lite will do the job.
It is no problems to convert PC files to the Mac - the official POV-ray Mac
supports PC, unix and Mac style line endings.

A Mac file has different "forks" (currently only two), much like the
multiple streams in Windows NT NTFS file (also there are very few NT apps
that use this feature...).
