accelerated game, that's the way to go.

If you're not a game junkie, then send that computer to me and I'll give you
my PII-266! It's got 96MB RAM! That's an upgrade! If anyone cares
(probably no one) here's MY system specs:

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Acer Aspire
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
-Intel Pentium II 266MHz
-96MB RAM (expanded from 32. . .BLARF!)
-ATI Rage Pro 2D/3D accelerator (integrated. . .2MB SGRAM)

-Creative Labs Sound Blaster AWE64. . .512KB on board (added on)
-OLD SOUNDCARD-Crystal Semiconductors AW35 (sucked! gone for good)
-1.44MB Disk Drive
-1.2MB Disk Drive (don't call me a caveman :)
-Acer 32x CD-ROM Drive
-512KB L2 Cache
-4.3 GB Hard Drive (controller 1 master, one big FAT32 partition)
-2.6 GB Hard Drive (controller 2 slave, one 800MB FAT16 partition, several
Linux mount points 1.8 GB in all)
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I think that's about it. I'm a gamer (obviously...) and an musician for
Trax in Space (www.traxinspace.com) and I try to stay upgraded (hard for a
14 year old, though).

Adios!

-Ian

P.S. If anyone cares, my artist name on Trax in Space is Spectere. Now go
listen to some of my songs. (I'm still a beginner at composing, though :)

P.P.S. If anyone doesn't know what Trax in Space is, it's based on music
like the old Amiga MODs and it's younger relatives (like S3Ms, 669s, ITs,
XMs, stuff like that). It even has some [legal] MP3s!
