The sky is nice, very sunset-y, although a little too red; maybe these are
Martian pyramids? :-)
The sand could definitely use some work as could the river, I don't quite get
all the colors in the water, supposed to be reflections of the sky? Try
scaling down the texture a lot on the sand just for a lark, but I think it
might need to be started from scratch. Also, try a texture looking more like
brick on the pyramids since they should be made of blocks.
