The frames in total, please. First, it's exactly what Povray does and
I'm used to this, and then, it's not enough to just double. (I don't see
why this should be much more work - just another linear interpolation.)

That's a good idea! If you did this, I'd certainly use time (I was even
using the clock as time, counting one clock unit as one second).
