Hmmm, yes, I saw the "model" picture of the watch, ocean picture may be
from somewhere too huh? Well, I don't understand what N.P. may have been
up to, but innocent until proven guilty still holds even for rendering I
suppose. Maybe he's just redoing these, he mentioned the Photoshop
texture-making anyway. And it was rotated 90 degrees (I'm joking now).
Remakes or should I say rerenders of previous things is not anything
new. There just wasn't any mention of self-made or pre-made I think. The
comments seemed to suggest it at first I thought. I like other peoples
stuff a lot sometimes, I redid a pterodactyl animation (well, not exact
duplication) and a still of it as well. I liked it but I didn't leave it
on my web page since I didn't like the idea of starting to do more such
things and filling the web pages with footnotes on who's who. At least I
don't think it's there anymore.
One other image has a BMW car model obtained from 3D Cafe or MeshMart or
some place and the rules for it's use pretty much say freely use so long
as not connected with commercial aspects or some such. Best to keep away
from that if at all possible. But maybe N.P. bought this watch model and
it's royalty free until used to make money off of it.
Well, heck, what am I saying, N.P. can surely defend (that is the right
word, correct? ha-ha) himself, he seems to have the ego and extrovertion
for it.
My apologies to N.P. if any of what I said here is to the contrary.
