Same here, but I haven't been playing for so long... I'm not
even 32 yet...by far
15 years I think it is. I just started playing the piano we
got at home one day, and it sounded pretty nice, I think,
'cause I still play now. Never took any lessons, though...
spoils my creativity. Learned to read notes when I was very
young and was playing violin, but I haven't touched one of
those for a looong time.

So you taught yourself too? I don't think you really missed
much (but I can't really tell). I think when you teach
yourself, you develop a certain style that is very personal.
That's worth more to me than that I can play Rachmaninov
without making any mistakes (which I can't...)
