Like this:

If you want to change the leaf-type for the whole model, use the "Global
Leaftype" command in the "Tree" menu.
This changes *all* leaves to a new type.

If you want to be more specific (e.g. change only the color of branches, or
only the color of leaves, or only the color of *some* branches, or only the
type of the leaves on *some* brances but not on others etc.) use "Modify
Branch" in the "Tree" menu like this:

First select the limb you want to start working from, then select "Modify
Branch".
In the dialog that opens, you have the choice of setting the properties for

- the active (selected) limb only
- the whole branch starting with the active (selected) limb (but not the
sidebranches, and not the limbs before the selected limb)
- the whole branch starting with the active (selected) limb, including all
sidebranches (and their sidebranches etc.) (but not the limbs/branches
before the selected limb).

Then you mark the properties you want to change on that branch/limb by
checking the respective checkbox and you define what change you wanna make.

It's that easy!

Open the Documentation by selecting "Help" from the "Help" menu.
On the first page, in the rightmost column you will see a section "Dialogs",
with some second-level links in a smaller font. The last one of those
second-level links reads "Modify Branch" and will lead you directly to a
description of the dialog I wrote about above.
