Hey guys...
A while back, I saw someone post what they called their "obligatory" chess
set.  Then someone commented that the whole chess set thing was getting
"worn out".  So I got to thinking about that... a "worn out" chess set...
So I decided I'd try taking a chess set and basically torching it...

Here's the "before" and "after".
Comments?  Suggestions?  (be kind... I'm still not very good at this)
