   I did look at it a bit. I didn't get very far as I was unsure exactly
what you wanted to achive. I think if it's purely speed related then
the texture change I already mentioned will definatly help and as you
already know losing the media torches will make it go real fast.
  The problem I have with working on your source is that any changes I
might make to improve it would be my impression of what it should look
like. This takes all of the development fun out of it for you. If you
had any one specific problem I can try to isolate for you bring it up
and I will see what I can do. Really though I think you are going in
the right direction now.
